In fact most of the people controlling Australian taxis have never been Cabbies at all, which goes a long way to explaining why the industry is the way it is...

This forum was created by ATDA Vice-President Ross Nelson in 2004 as part of a successful campaign against the imposition on Sydney taxi drivers of a stupid "No Destination Dispatch" scheme. At times this forum is just like the web once was - a wild place where pretty much anything goes and free speech reigns supreme. Not for the faint hearted or easily offended, "No Desto" is a place where cabbies can tell it as they see it, and ideas are exchanged without hot air or censorship.
